Drive Practice Growth With Pre-Qualification
How to remove financial uncertainty and treat more patients with Pre-Qualification.
Treatment Cost Can Block Every Type of Patient:
Utilize Pre-Qualification effectively by considering the patient journey.
Prospective Patients:Prospective patients can hesitate to book consultations due to 1) affordability concerns and 2) high upfront costs. Pre-Qualification can help new patients take the first step. |
Scheduled Patients:Scheduled patients can feel unprepared when presented with treatment plans that are multi-step. Pre-Qualification can help patients say "yes" to comprehensive care. |
Inactive Patients:Inactive patients may miss or cancel their appointments due to the high costs of maintenance and prevention. Pre-Qualification can help re-engage patients so they commit to treatment. |
Simple Ways to Use Pre-Qualification:
Incorporating Pre-Qualification within various touchpoints will allow your practice to create financial clarity across your patient base.
📌Remember that Pre-Qualification can be completed at any time as it does not require the patient's treatment to be determined nor does it count as a finalized application.
🖥️ Practice Website: Add a Pre-Qualify Now button to your website with your unique link.
✉️ Patient Communications: Use your link and text code in appointment reminders, follow-ups, and even phone scripts.
🏢 In-Office: Place materials like table tents in the waiting room, where patients can see them at check-in.
📣 Promote: Feature it in your social posts, newsletters, and at events.
📞Reactivation: Reach out to past patients with open treatment plans - "Paying for treatment is easier than ever."

Getting from Pre-Qualified to Activated:
Pre-Qualification is just the beginning in driving growth for your practice. Now that you have a pool of pre-qualified patients, your practice is ready to convert them into applications.
📌The decision-making process can be different for every patient. Their Pre-Qualified status will be valid for 90 days in the Provider Portal, allowing for flexibility in timing and any updates to their plan.
- If the patient is ready to take advantage of a payment plan- Locate and click their name from the Dashboard and email/text the application to them to complete and sign.
- If the patient requires time to consider a payment plan- Encourage them to call the office when they're ready and inform them that they only have a few more steps. Additionally, you can always follow up at a later date.
- If the patient's program type needs to be changed- Send a new link corresponding to their program OR click "Start New Pre-Qual" when you go to start their pre-qualified application.
Once your practice identifies best practices for when and where to use Pre-Qualification, you'll be on your way to achieving results- more patients walking through your door, fewer no-shows, and higher treatment acceptance.
