Add Additional Services to Existing Payment Plans: in BETA

We understand that treatment plans change or additional treatment is needed. That’s why we are working to allow providers to add additional services after a payment plan has been activated, within a specified timeframe. This new workflow will send an addendum for signature, to the customer after the adjustment is requested. Post-activation adjustments will reduce the likelihood that a customer will need multiple payment plans.

Additional payment frequencies for applicants: in BETA

At HFD, we’re on a mission to make healthcare affordable by giving everyone a better way to pay. We are dedicated to empowering patients by offering them the freedom to select the frequency of their payments, providing them with ultimate flexibility.

Our new feature allows applicants to choose:

  • Monthly payments
  • Twice-per-month payments
  • Every other week payments
  • Weekly payments

While this feature is currently in a BETA phase, we’re working hard to bring this feature to our full network as soon as possible. Stay tuned for updates on its full implementation. Learn more>

Early Payoff Paths for Promotional Offers

In 2023, HFD introduced the Converted Interest Promo Program which gives customers access to take advantage of a 0% interest payment plan. We are taking our promotional offers to the next level of consumer-friendliness, by allowing consumers to select the payment amount required that ensures they meet the promotional requirements during payment plan creation. Converted Interest aligns with our commitment to transparency and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Heightened Funding and Payment Transparency

We are adding additional data points to our funding ledger like the day we funded the provider. You will soon see all the information on provider cancellation and refund activity. Integration partners can see a breakdown of all payments submitted via API.

Two Way Texting

Getting support when our customer need it, is paramount to completing their payment plans successfully. Patients will soon have the ability to text our Customer Support team with questions on their program and we will have someone on the other end to support them.
